| Back to home While a comfortable family home, Rob and Lorraine's house is in need of a refresh, a rejuvenation and certainly a Renovation Rescue! Rob's delighted at the thought of removing the tired timber paneling but will they be so happy if the heater's taken out? Like a lot of DIY enthusiast homes there's a lot started but a few jobs that need finishing. Outside, Don Burke's joined Greg Norton and the team to try and save the beautiful gum which is currently browning with thirst — just as well the boys have got a plan! Get ready for some Rescue renovations! On your marks, get set... go! Inside Tara Dennis, Scott Cam and team have got their work cut out for them: - The office is bulging at the seams
- The lounge, dining room and hall all need new carpet, paint and furniture
- The paneling and mirror tiles have got to go!
Meanwhile, landscaper Greg Norton wants to save the gum and give the front yard a facelift. His team will be: - Building a retaining wall to save the tree
- Creating a large garden bed
- Choosing plants that don't clash with the red brick.
Peter reckons he's got the worst room in the house — the office! Luckily he's got the Feng Shui book handy and a beautiful plan in place. While Don shows us that a rainy day can teach you a lot about waterfall in your garden, Scott shares his safety tips for working on the roof. Inside, Tara creates a beautiful wall of framed maps — inspired by Rob and Lorraine's love of camping — and Rebecca shows us how to create an old fashioned limewash look by painting with a cross hatching technique. What an incredible makeover the team has done for Rob and his family. Just take a look! The living room, dining and hall look gorgeous with: - freshly painted walls in attractive, modern colours
- new furniture
- new carpet
- new plasma TV screen
- Tara's maps on the walls
Peter's completely rescued the office with: - a new computer
- built-in cupboards with painted doors
- a chocolate brown feature wall
The front yard now features a lovely rich lawn and plants in a carefully coordinated colour scheme that create a sophisticated effect carried into the house. Don's Paint Mix Don's Paint Mix was used on the retaining walls of the front garden. The paint used was Dulux X10, which is a low sheen exterior paint. This formula is for a 4 litre tin:

Congratulations, Rob, you mightn't have thought you deserve it, but we most definitely think you do! Tower Lodge, Pokolbin, Hunter Valley Leah whisks the happy couple off to the beautifulHunter Valley. Rob thinks the stylist sprucing is for a special dinner but Lorraine's got a surprise for him when she asks him to renew their wedding vows. And Renovation Rescue 's got a bigger surprise for them both — eight of their closest friends have joined them for the romantic ceremony and lavish dinner at Roberts. After wine tasting, the next morning there are still more surprises in store.
