Episode 1 - Lawson NSW
Home
handyman Glenn has gone on the attack in his Blue Mountains family
home. When their fourth child came along Glenn put a partition down
the middle of the lounge room and created a fourth bedroom. For
six months the family of six have also been making do with showering
in this empty shell, splashing water around the exposed beams and
wiring.

Episode 2 - Edithvale VIC
Sam
and Mark purchased a timber cottage in the Melbourne bayside suburb
of Edithvale at a bargain price and in need of renovation. The main
part of the house is a bare shell. Sam’s dream kitchen appliances
are out of warranty before they are put in. while the front garden
is an unfenced wasteland.

Episode 3 - McGrath's Hill
NSW
Pete
and Julie-Ann have lived in the semi-rural area of McGraths Hill
in Sydney's north-west for three years. For all of that time, Pete
has been promising to fix up the downstairs section of the house
and create more space for the family of six, as well as build an
entertaining area opening onto the backyard. So far all he's managed
to do is take over the garage as a bloke's nook.

Episode 4 - Hornsby Heights

Craig
and Alex bought a wreck of a home in the northern Sydney suburb
of Hornsby Heights to transform into their dream home. Craig promised
he would propose to Alex once their home renovations were complete
but two years later, their dream home is in greater disrepair than
when they moved in. DIY Rescue is here to make sure the work is
all done.

Episode 5 - Caloundra QLD
Queensland
fireman Ian is having trouble finishing things. Two years ago, Ian
started building an extension to the family home in Caloundra, the
gateway to the Sunshine Coast. The new area involves a family room,
a master bedroom with ensuite and a pave.

Episode 6 - Sylvania NSW
Kyle,
Tracey and their two small children have been crammed into the top
floor of their little brick and weatherboard house in Sylvania.
Three years since Kyle started renovating, the toilet doesn't flush,
there is no internal staircase and the backyard is a disaster zone.

Episode 7 - Mulgrave VIC
Phil
started an extension on his home in the Melbourne suburb of Mulgrave
two years ago. With three boys sharing a bedroom, the family desperately
needs more space. All Phil has to show for his work is a concrete
slab and bare wall frames and his wife Jodie is at her wits' end.

Episode 8 - Parramatta

Alan
started renovating his family home in Parramatta 12 years ago. Today,
the house is in greater disrepair than when he began. The main living
room has missing walls, a pool table covered in boxes, computer
parts, and there is absolutely nowhere to sit. Wife Judy and their
two children have both spent more than half their young lives living
in a building site.

Episode 9 - Baulkham Hills

Tony
and Trish bought their first home in Sydney's Baulkham Hills four
years ago. Tony has made numerous attempts to improve the property,
but the results have been uniformly disastrous, mainly because,
as Tony freely admits, he is pretty useless when it comes to DIY.
Tony starts jobs with the best intentions, but gets bored and leaves
things half-done, leaving Trish with another DIY disaster.

Episode 10 - Macleod VIC
Paul
and Nichole have been slowly fixing up their home in the Melbourne
suburb of Macleod for more than three years. They threw themselves
into renovating, thinking DIY couldn't be too difficult, but soon
found themselves desperately short of time and money to do the job
properly. Nichole's had enough and she's ready for a DIY Rescue.

Episode 11 - Marulan NSW
Paul
and Julie have spent 18 long months in their DIY disaster. Their
house is a solid brick miner's cottage with a partially-renovated
kitchen. The only access to the main bedroom is through the kids'
room. Working as a country policeman, Paul has no time to finish
the renovation, so Julie called in the team from DIY Rescue.

Episode 12 - Chelsea VIC
Colin's
renovation woes started inside when he installed a built-in wardrobe
in the second bedroom. Outside, he tried to build a new deck at
the front of the house, but there are no steps onto the deck. Visitors
have to climb a step-ladder to gain access to the house. Colin's
done so much DIY work around the house that Georgia's screaming
for a DIY Rescue.

Episode 13 - Penrith NSW
David
has been doing up his family home in Penrith for the past three
years. He's exposed a load-bearing wall, attempted to remodel the
kitchen and dug some trenches in the backyard. Now their home is
a jumble of exposed wall studs draped with electrical wiring. David's
wife Angela has had enough and is desperate for a DIY Rescue.

Episode 14 - Morayfield
QLD
John
and Janelle bought land in Morayfield, north of Brisbane, to build
a house. Eleven years on, the house has a half-completed kitchen,
bare plasterboard walls and their daughter Rylee, born with profound
cerebral palsy, shares her parents' bed because her bedroom has
never been finished. After trying to get things done over the years,
this family is desperate for a DIY Rescue.

Episode 15 - Wattle Grove NSW
Adam
and Belinda have had a run of bad luck that has left their home
half-finished. In the middle of a do-it-yourself extension, Adam
lost his job and the renovation stalled. At the same time, Belinda
was unable to work due to illness. So DIY Rescue has assembled
a crack squad of professionals to bring a bit of peace to this war-torn
house.
